Dave and his team did a superb job in removing old fence panels and their concrete posts and installing new. The old posts turned out to be deeply buried in concrete and the team had to battle to remove them, but they were relentless. All of this in blazing sunshine and 36C temperatures! Sheer determination and hard work produced a great result on time. Huge thanks.

Dave Newnham and his team replaced our old drive and part of the front garden with a new tarmac driveway with separate lawn, and separate areas for shrubs flowers and bushes. They all arrived on time, worked relentlessly and completed each day exactly as planned. Equipment, concrete, tarmac was all delived exaclty when it should have done, and by lunch time on the last day they had tidied everthing, job was done and they all left. Dave and his team all worked together in a professional way, and they all knew exaclty what they were doing. All I did was provide them with a constant flow of tea and coffee and biscuits. 5 stars to you all - you deserve it!

Dave and team have just put down a fairly large patio for us. They did it in a week where we had one dry day. The reast of the week was continuous rain ! They've done a fantastic job considering the appalling weather. They fully deserved every tea and coffee we made them 😁 Thanks Dave and team.👍

We had been struggling to know what to do with our tired old tarmac driveway and who to ask to complete the work. As soon as we met Dave our troubles were over. Dave couldn't have been more helpful in listening to our wants and needs and suggesting materials to meet these and our budget. It was clear that he knew what he was doing and nothing was too much trouble for him and his team who were friendly, respectful, hard working and knowledgeable. Our job was completed on time and on budget despite challenging weather conditions and Dave was flexible when unexpected challenges presented themselves. We were looking to get our entire garden refreshed and wanted to have it repaved and wanted the decking gone. After looking through Checkatrade and contacting 7 different companies i wasn't getting no joy. Either receiving to high of quote over budget or no one wanted to do the project due to no back entrance. Then i came across David Newnham Building and Surfacing. I am so glad i did. David came out to give a free quote and took our situation and needs into account and wanted to keep the price of the job as low as he could for us. He came within our budget and the team of 3 delivered an outstanding job. It was clear chatting with David through out that he had a wealth of knowledge and experience and especially in the surfacing aspect. I urge anyone who is wanting to have there driveway/patio or or any building and surfacing done to contact this business and at least get a quote as you will not be disappointed. He is very customer focused and wants to meet you needs while keeping the cost down and thrives on having a great reputation. Dave was very responsive and helpful in dealing with a driveway issue for my client. It was somewhat challenging but he came up with an excellent solution and a very reasonable price. He completed the job in the timeframe advised and kept me updated on every step. He was also thoughtful regarding managing my client's access to the property while the work was being completed. I have already requested a further job be completed by him as I was so pleased with the results. My client is also now able to safely access her home without difficulty.
