Lakeside Surfacing Ltd

Lakeside Surfacing Ltd is a family-run surfacing contractor based in Ipswich. The founder of the company is David. It is fully insured. The company works across the UK on residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. Its residential surfacing services include block paved driveways, resin bound driveways, tarmac driveways, patios and outdoor living areas, and driveway repairs and resurfacing.

Its commercial and infrastructure surfacing services include car park surfacing, industrial yards, forecourt surfacing, road and access route surfacing, footpaths, utility reinstatement, machine-laid surfacing, surface dressing and line marking.

Households and commercial clients across the Sudbury area have commissioned Lakeside Surfacing Ltd for resin-bound, tarmac and block-paved driveways, carport surfaces and sandstone patios, and the feedback consistently centres on the finished result. More than one customer describes the workmanship as skilled and meticulous, with attention to detail and evident pride taken in the outcome.

An aspect raised across a number of reviews is reliability: teams arrive when promised, work efficiently and keep to agreed schedules even when weather makes driveway work unpredictable. Reviewers often mention the cleanliness of the site, noting that everything is left tidy and clean once the job is complete. Clear communication is another recurring theme, with progress updates given before and during the work, and explanations offered so property owners understand each stage.

Competitive quotes are frequently highlighted as part of the experience, alongside the sense that the price matched the standard delivered. David, named as the owner and main point of contact, is praised for his knowledgeable and approachable manner, while Rod, Jacub and John are singled out for their contribution on block paving, resin and patio projects. Repeat commissions for tarmac roads and driveways feature among the accounts, as does resurfacing and extending existing driveways.
