Dibben & Sons

Dibben & Sons is a family-run tarmac and asphalt surfacing business spanning three generations. The team has over 70 years of combined experience, with named team members including Philip, Shaun, Luke, and Lee. The company serves Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wimborne, and surrounding areas in Dorset.

It installs block paving, tarmac/asphalt, and concrete driveways, and designs and installs patios and complete landscaping projects including paving, turfing, fencing, and garden walling. The company also repairs and replaces existing driveways. Projects range from small domestic jobs to large commercial contracts. Free site visits and no-obligation quotes are offered.

Patios, driveways and paving projects dominate the feedback for Dibben & Sons, with reviewers consistently highlighting the standard of the finished result. Shaun and his team are described as polite, friendly and hard working, and their habit of suggesting improvements as work progresses comes up more than once. Block paving, porcelain patios, a path and Astroturf are among the jobs mentioned, along with the overhaul of a tired tarmac driveway and a ramp constructed to a customer's precise specifications.

Quotations are said to have compared well with others obtained, and several accounts note that the workmanship was of high quality and completed across difficult weather conditions. Tidiness is a recurring theme, with sites cleared of debris once the job was done. A detail many reviews return to is how snags were handled: when two slabs later worked loose, the matter was attended to promptly after contacting Shaun, which reviewers present as evidence of dependability. The respectful and helpful manner of the workforce, including Shaun's sons, is noted alongside a readiness to take on further work in Bournemouth.
