H Elgar Tarmac Contractor

Householders and small-scale clients in Northampton who needed driveway and tarmac work carried out have consistently positive recollections of this contractor. A number of customers describe a willingness to spend time listening to requirements and talking through the available options before any work began, a point that comes up often in accounts of the initial consultation. The standard of finish is repeatedly praised, with the completed driveways described as impressive and the workmanship rated first class. Reviewers also mention that the team was friendly, polite and considerate while on site, keeping disruption to a minimum and leaving the area immaculate once the job was finished.

Punctuality features prominently, with jobs completed on schedule and the company responding quickly when contacted. Pricing is characterised as fair and competitive, and one account notes that a smaller driveway was taken on when other contractors had shown no interest. The professional attitude of the workforce is a recurring theme, as is the straightforward manner in which the firm deals with the people who hire it. Satisfaction with the finished surfacing, from the first discussion through to the tidy handover, runs through the feedback.
