Householders and property owners around Codsall who engaged Graham J Lewis and Sons for substantial external schemes describe projects covering new driveways, patios, retaining structures, steps and turfing, with tarmacadam surfaces and kerb lowering also featured. Pleasure with the completed result recurs throughout accounts, especially from those who appointed the firm for full landscaping following a house build, where the care taken over detail and finish attracted consistent appreciation.

One thing mentioned again and again is how well the surfacing has lasted, one long-standing customer reporting that a drive installed years ago had not sunk despite skips and heavy vehicles being stationed on it, with the necessary documentation dealt with at the time. Reviewers also note the assistance given by Eddie and his team and the readiness of the business to handle combined landscaping, driveway and tarmacadam contracts.

Set against this, several accounts describe trouble making contact, with telephone calls going unanswered, quotations left unfollowed and promised visits that failed to happen, and some customers say the explanations offered for those delays did not convince them. The outcome is a mixed picture in which the standard of finished work is regularly recognised while the dependability of the enquiry and quoting stage is questioned by more than one householder, leaving a decision resting on the type of project involved.
