Affordable driveways

Affordable Driveways is a family owned and operated business with over thirty years of experience. It is one of the longest serving Tarmac & Asphalt specialists working in and around Belfast and Northern Ireland. The company offers a five year guarantee on all work.

It provides free quotations and fixed prices, and provides a start date and time for the new Tarmac driveway. Services include paving, asphalt services, tarmac services, hard landscaping, garden landscaping, groundworks, path laying, road and kerbs, car parks, and playgrounds.

Workmanship and finish emerge as the strongest recurring theme in feedback about this Belfast driveway specialist, with several customers describing excavations of tired concrete, fresh tarmac and new paving as carried out to a high standard. Hugh is named repeatedly, and reviewers credit him and his team with sound advice on materials suited to older properties, fair pricing and a willingness to adapt plans, including opening up an awkward raised area and adding steps and a plant bed.

Punctuality and courteous dealings come up often, alongside a broader range of groundworks such as drainage, a new manhole, stone patio areas, raised beds, garden fencing and a replacement side gate. Balanced against this, a number of accounts describe difficulties with communication and scheduling, including repeated calls with no response, missed appointments for quotations and long waits between the initial work and a return visit to address problems. An aspect raised across a number of reviews is that when the work is completed, the result is regarded as neat and well finished, particularly for full front and rear garden transformations and replacement driveways around the city.
