FRS Surfacing Ltd – WORST COMPANY I’VE EVER DEALT WITH If I could - They would have ZERO STARS!! Total cowboys! FRS Surfacing Ltd promised me painting and signage works, took my money, and then turned up completely unprepared – no stencils, no clue, no professionalism whatsoever. They FAILED to do the job, then had the audacity to demand another £500 to finish what they should have done in the first place. This company is a scam. Dishonest, incompetent, and arrogant. They do not deliver, they do not care, and they treat customers with absolute contempt. Their attitude is disgusting, and their service is beyond useless. If you value your money and sanity, AVOID FRS Surfacing Ltd at all costs. Cowboys, chancers, and rip-off merchants – they should not be trading.

I would not recommend hiring FRS for roadworks based on our recent experience. The engagement was marked by unprofessional conduct, poor workmanship, and a lack of accountability. 1. Unprofessional conduct The team failed to attend the site visit as scheduled and did not show up on the confirmed date of works, delaying the project by two weeks. During execution, they were unresponsive to residents’ reasonable requests and, at times, rude and defensive, despite residents being courteous and supportive (e.g., offering refreshments, checking on welfare). 2. Poor quality of work The roadworks were not completed to the agreed specifications. Potholes were not filled correctly, resulting in their reappearance within a month. The quality of workmanship was substandard, with certain essential tasks missed. After the first rainfall, the road surface showed early signs of damage, and weeds began growing through, which is highly unusual for properly executed works. 3. Lack of accountability and poor customer service When residents attempted to provide feedback, emails went unacknowledged, and phone conversations were met with rudeness, including abusive language. Despite clear evidence of deterioration, the company has refused to acknowledge or take responsibility for the poor condition of the road. Summary Our experience with FRS was extremely disappointing. The combination of unprofessional behavior, inadequate technical skills, and unwillingness to engage constructively with feedback has left the road in a worse condition than expected. For these reasons, I strongly advise others to avoid engaging FRS for roadworks.

Robert completed our drive way last September and within a few weeks a pot hole appeared. It now looks like this and there are numerous others. He is refusing to do anything about it. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS CONTRACTOR
