Prime Paving & Landscaping

The negotiation process was fairly straightforward, and Jon is a really nice and pleasant guy. We agreed a price in the scope of work around November 2023 which both of us were happy with. The weather didn’t do us any favours and it delayed the project by a few months, Which John was apologetic for, but I was willing to wait for as these things happen. Unfortunately, after a while Jon stopped communicating with me and failed to respond to any start date. The initial negotiation stage was pretty decent, which is why I gave the stars, but the communication ended up being quite poor and unfortunately stopping communication with a client after agreeing a project is a little unfair.

John and team completely overhauled our garden. We had it levelled and a block paved patio and turf laid. John came and quoted when he said he would unlike a number of other companies. The job was finished on time at the quoted price. The guys were really lovely and professional. A really pleasant experience, still very happy with the job 18 months later.

With the heavy rain we've been having, a small part of the drive wasn't draining.. contacted John who did the drive a few years ago. Contacted on Thursday...came on Tuesday to rectify the problem. Came on time, was polite, sorted the job in no time.. highly recommended

A great website, all you need to know before you make a dissension. John kept us informed at every stage of the build. His guys were always polite and very professional, working hard to achieve a great finish in good time. Good quality materials at a good fixed price. They do what they say with no hidden costs. I would have no issues in recommending them to anyone and would use them again in a heartbeat.

John & Darren re-modelled our old concrete driveway with block paving, also allowing for new drains , with beautiful edging stones and a lovely triple diamond motif. John and Darren were very polite and well mannered, nothing was too much trouble. They even returned later to help us trim our leylandii hedge. We were absolutely delighted with the result and we would recommend John & Darren without any reservations. We employed Prime Paving Ltd to block pave our driveway. We found them to be an impressive company. John was extremely professional and gave a competitive quote. The work was finished to a high standard and to our complete satisfaction. No payment was required until we were entirely happy with the finished job. John and the guys at Prime Paving have recently done a great job in doing 2 main things for the house. Firstly, replacing my tired asphalt driveway which was starting to break up with a new and large brick paver one as well as sorting out issues with drainage by installing proper drains across the garage and front of the house. Secondly, the patio at the back of the house was some 25 years old, was sinking and uneven and the retaining walls were leaning and looking like they could collapse. This they replace with a new and extended patio with built in steps and large planters as well as sorting out access to a manhole (that was buried under the previous patio) and again installing drains around the back of the house to keep any water away. The work has been done to a very high standard and the team took great care throughout to keep things as tidy as possible and to minimise any disruption to our neighbours. The finish is now one to be proud of and everything was completed as agreed including replacing some fencing and other paths. You can see from the photos that the work was done properly and built to last. The timescales were also kept to, so everything was completed in less than 3 weeks from start to finish. Not always common these days. I have attached photos of the work in progress and the work completed. I can thus highly recommend them for any work that you have of this nature.
