Oltco was originally established in Cornwall as a family business in 2004. Tom Stringer is the Founder and Director of Oltco, and trained at Camborne School of Mines as a mining engineer. John Pearce joined Oltco as Co-Director in 2011. Oltco offers a guarantee of up to 20 years. Oltco's systems are compliant with DDA, SUDS and BS 7976. Oltco Edinburgh serves Edinburgh and surrounding areas including Musselburgh, Tranent, Prestonpans, Gullane, Dunbar, Haddington, Ravelston, Craigentinny, Balerno, Straiton and Ingliston.

Oltco Edinburgh specialises in the installation of resin bound driveways, and also designs and installs pathways, patios, balconies, pool surrounds, garages, wet pour and paving. Oltco's Recycle Bound is a world first and uses waste plastic from a plastic recycling point, featuring a combination of plastic drink bottles, food packaging and straws. Oltco is the first company to offer Recycle Bound, an environmentally sustainable solution. Oltco's team members are handpicked and trained in the 'Oltco way'.

Edinburgh residents who engaged this resin specialist describe a consistently positive experience centred on driveway and patio installations. Praise for the finished surface recurs across accounts, with the bound resin product noted for its appearance, including how it catches the light, and for transforming front gardens and paths. Punctual arrival and dependable scheduling appear in numerous accounts, alongside clear updates as each stage progressed. Communication emerges as a recurring strength, with Jason responding to queries and keeping homeowners informed from initial planning through to completion.

A further theme is the tidiness maintained on site, as the crew cleared away materials and limited disruption to the household. Reviewers frequently commend the advice given on colour selection and design, and mention that snags were resolved without fuss. The friendliness and polite conduct of the team are noted repeatedly, together with their readiness to help with odd tasks such as shifting a hot tub and pergola. Neighbours and passers-by are said to have commented favourably on the completed work, and the same efficient, skilled approach is described in relation to patio and path surfaces as well as larger driveway schemes.
