I chose this company based on the way James and the business presented themselves online as 'Manchester Driveways', including their website, Google advertising and portfolio of previous work, which made them appear like an established and reputable local company. Unfortunately, the driveway installed has been horrendous. There are serious issues with the levels, drainage and overall finish, including standing water, uneven and loose blocks, poor edging and concerns about the construction underneath. CCTV footage of the installation also shows that no new MOT sub-base or membrane was installed despite this being discussed during the quotation stage. I’ve since had the driveway independently looked at and have been advised that major remedial work, or potentially a full rebuild, may now be needed because of the standard of the installation. I raised the issues directly and was initially told they would be sorted, but communication has now completely stopped. I also later discovered that the business I paid was not actually the established 'Manchester Driveways' company I believed I was dealing with, and that images shown online as previous work appear elsewhere under other companies. Based on my experience, I could not recommend this company to anyone and would strongly advise others to carry out careful checks before proceeding with any work or payment. I would still prefer to resolve this properly before things go any further, so if James is willing to discuss contributing towards putting the driveway right, I’m happy to have that conversation.

Our new resin-bound driveway was completed in October 2025 by James& The team was punctual, courteous, and meticulous in their work. The finish is smooth, durable, and has greatly improved the appearance of our property. We’re delighted with the result and would highly recommend their services.”
