JLS Driveways & Patios has earned consistent praise across York for driveway and patio projects, with the standard of the finished result emerging as the strongest recurring theme. Joe, who runs jobs alongside a second Joe, is regularly named for his knowledgeable advice, walking customers through options that include block paving, Indian stone and gravel before any work starts. Reviewers often describe a quick progression from quote to completed job, with several noting that work began sooner than expected and was finished within days. Fair pricing is mentioned often, with one account recalling that the initial figure seemed hard to believe until the craftsmanship confirmed it.

Tidiness appears throughout the feedback: old surfaces are stripped back, rubble taken away and surrounding areas left intact, while membranes and levels are prepared with care. The crew is described as polite, industrious and attentive to detail, whether laying patios, paths, bespoke steps or reconditioning driveways, and communication continues through the process, even when poor weather pushes the schedule back. The professional finish on Indian flagstone, Raj green slabs and grey stone features in many accounts, and several customers have returned for further work on the strength of earlier results.
