I’m sure the work done by Dave and his team is very good if they actually show up. We’ve now gone with someone else because we got fed up with being jerked around and given different dates and excuses finally ending in being ghosted completely yesterday. If you don’t want the job or you are too busy why not just say? Should probably change their name to not done at all driveways!

We recently had a resin bound driveway installed by Dave and the team at Done Right Driveways. After speaking to several companies across the Plymouth area, we chose Done Right Driveways based on the quality of information available online. Meeting Dave in person confirmed we had made the right call. He talked us through everything clearly, the pricing was very reasonable, and the whole experience from start to finish felt genuinely professional. We were kept updated throughout the process, which made a real difference, and the finished driveway looks absolutely stunning. Done Right Driveways LTD have just completed a full driveway build for me, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The project involved major structural work, including retaining walls, block paving, resin steps, and rendering. From start to finish, the workmanship and attitude of all involved has been outstanding. The team started in January and worked solidly for two weeks straight battling the weather and not letting it beat them. Every single day they arrived on time, worked solidly all day and their work ethic was genuinely impressive. With 28 years as a tradesman myself it’s a joy to see a team so committed and professional. Dave, from the very beginning, stood out from the other 3 builders I had quotes from. Out of four companies, he was by far the most honest and straightforward. The other three who have a large present on Facebook told me I didn’t need planning permission – even though I already knew that I did. Within the first minute of meeting Dave he informed me that I would need planning permission. He even helped me with the architect he uses, (Nigel Rockley, who was also outstanding)which saved me a considerable amount compared to other quotes I’d had. Dave wasn’t interested in making a quick buck and starting the work until all the correct paperwork and permission was properly in place. That level of integrity really gave me confidence. The price was more than fair for the amount of work involved, and the quality of the finish speaks for itself. I’ve already recommended Done Right Driveways to friends and my own customers and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a driveway or building works. I've had scaffolding up for 3 months waiting for my house to be rendered as they said they were ready to start. Chased every week and get "we will be there next week". Still no show. Ive wasted money on scaffolding , surely you know what work you've got scheduled in. Unreliable and mess you around poorly run business.

Made contact with Mike three weeks ago regarding a driveway who advised me at the time that Dave was on holiday and he would get back to me upon his return sometime the following week. Mike was very helpful and very polite gave me his emails address to forward pictures and show exactly what I was after etc. I left it the whole next week and heard nothing. The following Monday I contacted Mike again who was with Dave and said he would be in touch, again I heard nothing. Left it another week and made contact with Mike again who was very apologetic and send me Dave’s number straight away. Can’t fault Mike throughout out any of this. Tried calling Dave, sent a text message and have had nothing back yet again not even a courtesy response. My time has been wasted and unfortunately I will have to go elsewhere.
