Centar Surfacing Ltd

Centar Surfacing Ltd was formed by Mike Wellington and John Gordon. The company specialises in asphalt concrete surfacing and associated ground works. It is based in Oxfordshire and serves London and the South East of England. Its core team have worked together for over twenty years. Centar Surfacing holds ISO9001 certification, a Waste Carriers License, ConstructionLine Gold accreditation, FORS Silver certification, CHAS SSiP certification, and SSIP certification.

It offers free no obligation quotations and advice. It provides a range of surface finishes including asphalt, paving, coloured asphalts and specialist resin bonded/bound finishes. It carries out work on roads, car parks, play areas, footpaths and large drives. It serves national and regional builders, civil engineering contractors, ground workers, private commercial organisations and individuals. It provides its workforce with the latest blue motion technology vehicles to minimise toxic emissions.

Centar Surfacing Ltd carries out tarmac and asphalt surfacing from the Howland Road Industrial Estate in Thame. Weekday opening runs from eight in the morning until five in the afternoon, while Saturdays and Sundays are closed. A single customer account describes the experience as horrible and refers to a van driver, without setting out which type of surfacing was involved, where the work took place, or how any finished surface turned out.

No member of staff is identified by name, and no material, method or item of equipment is mentioned. What the account does convey is a strongly negative impression of the company as encountered by that customer, centred on the conduct of the van driver rather than on any completed surfacing project.
